The Band exists for the purpose of:
 

Providing an opportunity for amateur musicians to participate in group playing of music;
 

Encouraging amateur musicians to improve their musicianship;
 

Encouraging amateur musicians to explore and develop an interest in the wide spectrum of musical styles which constitute the repertoire of the Concert Band;
 

Encouraging amateur musicians to develop the ability to direct their individual musical skills into the form required by the ensemble, placing the objectives of the group to the fore;
 

Creating and maintaining an interest in Concert Band music in the community through public concerts, concerts for Seniors, and through a Summer Series in the parks in and around our community.

Encourager les musiciens amateurs d'explorer et de développer un intérêt dans le large éventail de styles musicaux qui constituent le répertoire de l'Orchestre d'Harmonie;
 

Encourager les musiciens amateurs à développer la capacité de diriger leurs compétences musicales individuelles dans la forme requise par l'ensemble, en plaçant les objectifs du groupe à l'avant;
 

Créer et maintenir un intérêt dans Concert Band musique dans la communauté à travers des concerts publics, des concerts pour les aînés, et à travers une série d'été dans les parcs dans et autour de notre communauté.
